"Q 2" for those in their 20's, 30's, and 40's

Are you a younger adult, in your 20s, 30s, or 40s, wanting to spend time with other adults in a fun, supportive environment? The St. James Young Adults Group, called Quarter Two or Q2 for short welcomes all young adults to join us at one of our upcoming events. 

We welcome individuals from all walks of life, single or married, kids or no kids, the longtime church member, or someone newly exploring the Christian faith.  Q2 engages in a variety of activities, including formal events, community service, Bible study and discussion groups, BBQs, fun outings, and large events with other young adult groups from area churches.

Our Upcoming Events include:

Saturday August 6th at 3pm at The Forrest's will be hosting a BBQ/swim at their home in La Jolla.  Please RSVP to email below by July 25th.  I will send the address and more details to those who RSVP. 

Wednesday August 10th. "Theologies Uncorked" with St. Peter's Del Mar Young Adults group.  Join us at 7 pm at Crepes & Corks Restaurant in Del Mar, located at 1328 Camino Del Mar (between 13th and 14th St.)  We will discuss a theology-related topic over wine and crepes.   

Saturday August 20th. A Camp Stevens Workday Join St. James church as we help Camp Stevens build and maintain their beautiful facilities in Julian!  We’ll leave mid-morning and be back around dinnertime.  Contact Aimee for more information.

Friday October 14th- Sunday October 16th. Camp Stevens Harvest Festival Weekend. Join St. James Church and other churches at Camp Stevens for a casual, relaxing weekend at Camp Stevens in Julian.   On and off site activities may include cider pressing, canning and pickling, garden planting and harvesting, organic beer tasting, wreath making, farm tours, music around campfires, and general revelry.  Bring family and friends to celebrate the bounty and beauty of this season.The weekend begins with a buffet supper on Friday evening and ends with lunch on Sunday. Rooms in Blum Lodge cost $550 for up to 6 persons. Dormitory accommodation is $130 for adults and older children; $100 for children 2-12. No charge for children under 2. All meals are included.
