We Welcome Everyone at St. James by-the-Sea

At St. James by-the-Sea, everyone is welcomed into our community of faith; reaching out to the faithful Episcopalian and the seeker alike. Wherever we are on our spiritual journey, we welcome the opportunity to worship together.

St. James offers a wide variety of programs and worship opportunities for all ages and interests. We join together in worship, fellowship, spiritual growth, and community.

St. James is located in the Village of La Jolla, California just one block from the Pacific Ocean and just minutes north of downtown San Diego.

An Eastertide Prayer (from our Hymnal)

God is Love, let heaven adore him;
God is Love, let earth rejoice;
let creation sing before him and exalt him with one voice.
God who laid the earth's foundation,
God who spread the heaven above,
God who breathes through all creation:
God is Love, eternal Love.

God is Love; and Love enfolds us,
all the world in one embrace;
with unfolding grasp God holds us, every child and every race.
And when human hearts are breaking under sorrow's iron rod,
then we find that self same aching within the heart of God.

2.) Give to Episcopal Relief and Development
who is helping to provide life-saving food and other emergency supplies to the area
3.) Send a check to St. James by-the-Sea and mark "ERD-Myanmar" in the memo line
